Independently from your age and your level of computer proficiency, we would like to invite you to our Computer Courses. Studies at our courses are organized on different levels. Every student is offered his own line of studying according to his level of knowledge, skills and his interests. The system of the courses provides gradual specialization of students, the result of which is reaching the level of professional and creative usage of computer technologies, and also prepares students for computer science and design courses of different areas and levels (raging from elementary to professional.

The main areas of studies are:

• Computer design.
• Three dimensional modeling
• Computer Networks and INTERNET.
• Programming.

Students fulfill different tasks and solve certain problems on each level of studying:
The 1-st level. The main aim is to introduce the structure of computer to the students, to teach them to work in operating systems. Students also learn programs of different types (text editors, graphical editors, electronical tables, means of Internet, multimedia and so on). Basic concepts necessary for working with computers are formed during the process of studying. These concepts are: "interface", "configuration", "operating system", etc. Special attention is paid to the programs that most users have to work with: office applicatons, archivers, means of communication and so on.
The 2nd level. The aim of the courses of the second level is receiving new information and forming basic concepts in different areas of using computers . These knowledge and concepts are necessary for further computer specialization. A lot of attention is paid not to detailed learning of computer programs, but to learning basic concepts of using computer technologies necessary for solving creative tasks. Successful studying at the courses of the second level will be the base for every student's own informational and computer growth.
The 3rd level is the level of pre-professional studying. On a rather detailed level students study software and instrumental means that are widely used in modern informational technologies. You can choose either an individual or a standard form of studying - the one that is more suitable for you.

Forms of studying that are possible:

• Classroom education in Saint Petersburg State Institute of Fine Mechanics and Optics in groups of 12-16 students according to standard programs
• Classroom education in Saint Petersburg State Institute of Fine Mechanics and Optics in module groups of 3-4 students according to individual programs
• Individual classroom education (either in Saint Petersburg State Institute of Fine Mechanics and Optics or at home) according to individual programs
• Group distance learning according to standard programs
  Individual distance learning according to individual programs
• Distance learning in forms of consultations (one time detailed consultations for all students)
